Arizona Strikers FC
The Arizona Strikers of the Western Conference Pro/Am USL W-League, announce their first commitment from last year’s squad.
Leilani Skinner, a 21 year old midfielder from Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, currently playing for California State University Bakersfield, will once again wear the jersey of the Arizona Strikers beginning this summer.
An All Conference midfielder from Sahuaro High School (Tucson), Leilani’s club soccer career began with one of our Arizona youth soccer partners AZ Champions FC and concluded playing two years with the Arizona Rush program.
Leilani started all 19 games, playing 1,642 minutes as a junior for the CSUB Roadrunners. She will return to play as a 5th year senior, having redshirted this past season due to a bone fracture.
Due to university commitments, Leilani joined the Arizona Strikers halfway through the 2014 season, playing in 6 games of the 11 game season, scoring one goal while playing 500 minutes.
The Arizona Strikers FC organization has been more than pleased with the support it has received from the Yuma community for the upcoming 2015 USL W-league Pro/Am soccer season beginning in May.
